sweet harmony²⁰²⁴

The artists Anna-Maria Bogner, Daniela Georgieva and Martin Pfeifle enter into an artistic spatial trialogue at AURA, in which they closely interweave installation, sculpture and performance.

Their collaboration is based on the intervention Goldhaufen made of golden amorphous concrete objects and black rubber tensions, which Bogner and Pfeifle showed in the old Zrinksi fortress in Kraljevica Croatia in 2023.

In sweet harmony, a multi-layered setting is now being created in a direct artistic exchange between all three artists. Pfeifle's characteristic objects once again serve as anchor stones that hold Bogner's tensions in space and thus enable a three-dimensional spatial drawing with minimal means. Georgieva's performance, which reflects this spatial situation and develops from its conditions, becomes an integral part of the joint intervention. It will be shown live and also as a video projection over the entire duration of the exhibition.

The artists examine the reciprocal conditions, limitations and possibilities of object/s, space and body/s: what role do spaces play in togetherness, what conditions are given by society or architecture, what possibilities remain for the (human) body and its movements and what emotions are associated with them? The artists succeed in bringing different aggregate states - classically static, sculptural objects, flexible tensions made of stretchable bands and performative movement elements - into the space and thus creating a multi-layered and harmonious overall intervention that focuses on the elementary relationships between space, object and bodies. sweet harmony is the title and guiding theme of this artistic collaboration.
