breath of movement²⁰²⁴

The starting point of "breath of movement" is a simple question: can a choreography be performed in the form of an exhibition? Georgieva's work deals with space, form, structure and walking. How many possibilities are there in this seemingly everyday activity? How does the person change the space in which they walk? How do anatomy and physicality influence walking? By observing intensively and allowing parameters such as time and space to become permeable, walking becomes contemplative, sharpening our perception of proximity and distance, line of sight, breathing, posture and dynamics. In the exhibition "Die Sammlung Haniel - Der eigene Weg", she will show excerpts from a longer choreographic work "quixotic essence of a breath of movement 1/3", which explicitly interacts with the spaces of the Museum Küppersmühle.
