PfeiflexOdeeh2021

Art and fashion have touched and inspired each other over the past 100 years. World- famous collections have been created, such as Yves Saint-Laurent‘s dresses printed with Piet Mondrian‘s De-Stijl mosaics or Louis Vuitton‘s famous „Multicore“ monogram bag, which was created in cooperation with the artist Takashi Murakami. Fascinating on this topic is also the currently running exhibition „DRESSCODE - The Play with Fashion“ at the Bundeskunsthalle.

Inspired by the work SUPERMAG by Martin Pfeifle in our gallery, designers Otto Drögsler and Jörg Ehrlich of the German fashion label ODEEH have developed their own collection. Blue, purple and white stripes overlap, creating a three-dimensional graphic pattern that runs across the floor and walls of the gallery and now also across blouses, shirts, pants, dresses and bags by ODEEH.

We are very pleased to present, together with Les Jumelles, who successfully represent the label ODEEH, the result of this extraordinary dialogue between artist and designer.

As part of the presentation, Martin Pfeifle has realized his spatial installation in our project space and invited the artist Daniela Georgieva to perform in it.
