Marianne2024
How can the supposedly female body be read and used as an instrument of resistance, criticism and the questioning of a patriarchal status quo in everyday life? What gestures and movements do I encounter on the streets and in the media? What role does the female body play as a carrier of history(ies), memories and emotions in my everyday life? The artist Daniela Georgieva addresses these questions in her performance "Marianne".
It is explicitly pointed out that no attributions of external attributes and gender norms as well as classifications of only male and female bodies are used in the performance.
