Crackle/Knistern2023

Crackle / Knistern is a choreographic arrangement of body, music, light and space: how can resonance be created between the elements and meanings become fluid between form and affect? A dancing body becomes a sculpture, while the violin stroke materializes in space. Here, choreographer and visual artist Daniela Georgieva creates a solo for dancer David Kummer that, in dialogue with contemporary jazz musician Julia Brüssel, shakes the boundaries of portraiture and (his own) authorship - a crackle between fragility, grace, form and eruption.
