Before The Next Step2026
As part of INTERACTIONS Daniela Georgieva will present a site-specific solo performance that takes up lines, patterns, and architectural traces and translates them into movement. Folklore-inspired elements permeate her gestures and steps, a recurring vocabulary that explores the space, shifts it, and makes it possible to experience it anew.
A specially developed soundscape and a text accompany “Before The Next Step,” laying acoustics over the visual.
Georgieva’s choreographic practice moves between contemporary dance, visual art, and electronic music—an in-between space where body, sound, and space continually encounter one another anew.
