2702062022
With 270206, Daniela Georgieva and Hugo Le Brigand bring a poetic- minimalist duet to the stage. Inspired by the movement language of the Judson Dance Theater of the 1960s, the two dancers explore the boundaries of their own and the other body and find impressive images for the tension between closeness and distance. Daniela Georgieva and Hugo Le Brigand reflect on physicality and community as basic conditions of human being-in- the-world and the current reaction to physical distancing and uncertainty. In their choreography, they explore how the self changes in exchange with the other and over time, how perception of the self and location in space shift. The two dancers become a fragmentary we, probe the boundaries of their own and the other body, and trace the sound and intensity of movement, touch, and encounter.
